What are Libraries in the Cemantica platform?

The purpose of Libraries in Cemantica is to provide a centralized collection of reusable records, allowing you to efficiently manage and deploy consistent Assets - such as Touchpoints, Measures, or Templates - without the need to recreate them each time you need to use them.

What's inside a Library?

Libraries can be found in the Settings space under the Libraries tab.

The Touchpoints, Stickers, Systems, Departments, Brand Values & Measures are pre-defined Libraries by Cemantica. You will be able to add and edit records, but you won't be able to remove these Libraries.

  • Touchpoints: Here, you can add to a pre-existing Library of Touchpoints, new touchpoints that are specific and can only be seen by your users

  • Stickers: Here is a Library of pre-defined Stickers that are visual representations to onto your Journey Maps, such as emoticons and icons

  • Systems and Departments: These two Libraries represent a list of internal systems and departments. You can add to the predefined list to enrich it. You will use this Library to map the backstage elements of a Journey

  • Brand Values: Brand Values are a set of beliefs that an organization will present to customers as part of its brand promise

  • Measures: Here you can define the tangible metrics to help measure business performance that will appear directly in a Journey Map

How to create and manage your Custom Libraries

These are 100% custom-created by your organization, so you can completely delete, add to and edit. These are called "Custom Lanes" that can be used within your Journey Map.

Importing items into Custom Libraries

To successfully import items, ensure your data is formatted according to the predefined Excel template provided. This will facilitate a smooth and accurate import process.

Setting up and customizing the items in your Libraries is easy to do. Start from the Default or go further with customization. Watch the video to see how you can manage and add your own Touchpoints, Stickers, Systems, Brand Values, Departments and Measures to align your journey mapping.
