This guide walks you through what you see when you first log in, the home screen, left navigation, settings and key features, so you know exactly where to start.
Home screen
When you log in, you land on the Home screen, your personal dashboard.
Key sections
Workspace Selector – Top-left shows your current workspace (e.g., “Default”). If you have multiple workspaces, click here to switch between them.
Quick Actions
Start New Journey Map – Begin from scratch.
Generate Journey Map with Alex (AI) – Upload a file or enter details and let AI create your first draft map.
Generate Persona with Alex (AI) – Build persona profiles quickly with AI.
Invite Button – Top-right button to add teammates to your workspace.
Recent Work – Jump back into recently accessed maps, programs, or insights with one click.
Learn Section – Short videos and tutorials to help you get started or explore advanced features.
Left Menu Navigation
The left menu is where you navigate between all areas of Cemantica:
Home – This gives you a high-level dashboard view.
Reports – High-level metrics and performance data across programs.
Programs – Here you can organize initiatives by program or business focus.
Personas – Create and manage detailed customer profiles to connect to journeys.
Journey Maps – Build and edit journeys, add lanes, stages, interactions, and collaborate live.
Insights – Capture findings, pain points, gains, and evidence.
Opportunities – Turn insights into structured opportunities for improvement.
Solutions – Document potential solutions and link them to opportunities.
Actions – Track concrete steps to execute solutions.
Projects – Group-related actions are taken in projects, and the overall progress is monitored.
+ Add Folder – Organize journeys or programs into folders for easier navigation.
Settings and Administration
The Settings panel gives you control over your workspace and users.
My Organization
Company Logo – Upload or update your organization’s logo.
Preferred Language – Choose the default language for your workspace.
Sample Data Toggle – Turn on/off sample data for demonstration purposes.
Subscription Section – View your current plan, expiration date, and number of billed users.
AI Content Section
Privacy statement.
Toggle Enable Alex (AI) to generate content to activate AI-powered
features.
Configuration and Workspaces
Adjust workspace-level settings and manage multiple workspaces if needed.
Manage Users
Users – Invite new users, remove users, adjust roles. Search, choose visible columns, or export user lists.
Teams – Organize users into teams for collaboration and filtering.
Transfer Ownership – Reassign ownership of all records from one user to another when needed.
Seats overview shows Seats Used, Full Users, Read Only, and Inactive users.
Workspace Customization
Libraries – Centralize your touchpoints, stickers, systems, departments, brand values, measures, and product catalogs. Each library displays the number of items it contains, and you can add new ones with + New Library.
Templates – Maintain standard templates for Journey Maps or Personas. Toggle Public or Design Lock per template, or use Export to download.
Taxonomy – Configure statuses, priorities, groups, tags, and insight types for consistency and better filtering.
Integration Center – Connect to tools like Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Sandsiv, or monday.com. Installed connectors can be disabled at any time.
Top Navigation and Profile
At the top-right corner:
Notifications Bell – See updates, comments, or shares.
Need Help? – Access Cemantica’s Help Center or contact support.
Profile Menu – Manage account settings, switch workspaces, or log out.
