Configure, save and export your Analysis

Volume, Galaxy, Drivers and Sentiment share the same side panel. From there, you can configure the active visualization, manage concepts, apply filters, review documents and export results.

The panel remains in a consistent location, but the settings under Configure change according to the feature you are viewing.

Open Configure to choose which concepts appear and how the results are organized.

Depending on the feature, you may be able to:

Make one change at a time and keep the analytical question visible. This makes it easier to understand why the results changed. Feature-specific settings are explained in the corresponding Volume, Galaxy, Drivers and Sentiment articles.

When the current concepts, filters, and feature settings create a useful analysis, select the save icon beside Select View.

Enter a name and optional notes. A useful name identifies the subject and comparison, while the notes can record the selected period, filters, outcome, or intended use.

Open Select View to return to a saved setup later. Before saving a view:

In Export, use the image option to produce a PNG of the currently displayed concepts and filter settings.

Use an image export when you need to place the visualization into a presentation, report, or update. Before exporting, make sure:

Spreadsheet exports reflect the concepts visualized and the filters active in the current view. Select the export types you need, then generate the file.

Exports document text with its associated metadata.

Use this when you need the supporting records for review, coding, reporting, or additional analysis.

Exports total matches, exact matches and the percentage of documents covered by the selected concepts.

The percentage in this export is calculated over total text analysis project documents, not the filtered subsets. Keep this denominator in mind when comparing the spreadsheet with a filtered visualization.

Exports concepts, average scores, differences from the dataset average, Volume fields and example records for each concept.

Use it to compare drivers in a spreadsheet or prepare a reporting table. Treat the results as associations rather than evidence of causation.

Exports a heatmap of the association scores between concepts.

Use it when you need a precise, tabular comparison of relationships that are explored visually in Galaxy.

Exports association scores between active concepts and selected filters.

All documents are included as a reference. Select the filter values you want to compare before exporting.

This export is useful for identifying which concepts are more strongly associated with particular groups, categories, or segments.

Exports records for a selected concept with sentiment indicated by category and color coding.

Use it when you need to review how one concept appears across positive, negative and neutral contexts.

Exports concepts, exact-match counts, sentiment-category counts, sentiment percentages and example records for each concept.

Use it to compare the sentiment distribution of multiple concepts in a structured table.

Document downloads are available in XLSX or CSV format and are limited to 20,000 matching documents. Use the API for larger downloads.

The file reflects the current matching selection, so review all concepts and filters before downloading.

An export should preserve enough context for someone else to understand it.
