In Cemantica, you can create Journey Maps in different ways, including using ready-made templates, building one entirely from scratch, or using our AI assistant, Alex, to generate a complete map for you. This guide walks you through the process and introduces the different types of maps available.

Where to start Journey Mapping in Cemantica

When creating a new Journey Map, you can:

  • Start from scratch using the Journey Map Wizard to design a fully customized map.

  • Use a template to quickly build on a predefined structure.

Journey Map Templates

There are two types of templates you can choose from:

  1. Organizational Templates

    • Created by your Admin users

    • Provide a consistent, reusable structure across your organization

    • Help align mapping practices across teams

  2. Cemantica Templates

    • Predefined templates designed for common mapping needs

    • Each template comes with a unique layout and Lane setup, depending on the purpose

  • Service Blueprint – for mapping frontstage and backstage processes together
